Utah (sorry- no catchy title... nothing rhymes w/ Utah!)

We had a very nice vacation in Bicknell,Utah! We went to Ritchfield and eat at Tumbleweeds mexican restaurant.
Then we went to Cove Fort. Pres. Hinkley's Grandpa founded the fort.To learn more, click Here!

Whip-cha! Drive that wagon, Nolan! Here is the inside of the fort! It was neat to go into all the rooms and see how the pioneers lived! The fort lookout!Back at Bicknell, we took family pics.
(Sonja, I will let you do your magic on this picture to lighten it!- hehe!)

Jon and his siblings
Aaron, Jon, Kristen and Amy

What a cute family...ahhh!
The sad part is only one of us in the saddles is preg-o and it's not me even though I look like it here! (Too much good vacation food!)

The kids kick back!

Uncle Aaron keeps them busy on the four wheeler!
This man let the kids come up and fish for trout in his pond!
(I forgot his name, but I am sure that someone will comment that knows it- hint, hint!)

Carli caught the most fish (3)

Nolan caught the biggest fish!
Bridger was happy with his one fish!
(But didn't want to touch it!)

Uncle Nathan caught his first trout!
(Apparently there aren't any in Oklahoma...Who Knew?!?)

I made Jon pose for this pic of the view behind him
(and no, I don't mean the trash can!)

Don't worry- the kids got some cuddle time with their aunts and uncles!
(Aunt Amy and her mini- me!)

We were driving home and had about 2 1/2 hours to go when we heard this big "clash" noise. Jon ducked, I cussed and Jack was oblivious to anything. We turned around and saw that the back, side window had shattered. We think that maybe a pebble or something hit it. Luckily the 3 kids stayed with Jon's mom, so no one was sitting in the back seat to get hurt.
And don't worry- the windshield was fixed while we were in Amsterdam and it only cast $100 with our insurance!

Back to Reality!

Well- We are done with our vacations. I will post one place at a time. Here is our trip to see my Mom in Vegas... but we only stayed there one day before we were off to San Diego (Were it is much cooler!!!) We went to Sea world again. (Bridger was sick last year and didn't make it through the whole day. But this year he had so much fun!)
My kids are the BIGGEST hams! This was their idea to climb on top!

We took a fairy over from the Hyatt Hotel to Sea World.

The kids loved to touch all of the sea creatures in these pools of (Smelly) water!

We found a new friend!

Next, We went to the San Diego Zoo!

Hop on!

Bridger took a break and tried to figure out where we were on the map! (It was very cute!)

What is that spider doin' on Bridgie's face?

Our last day in San Diego we enjoyed the pool at our hotel!

Bridger stole my drink while taking a break from swimming!

Grandma had fun with Jack while the kids swam all over the place!

Relaxing...ah! We don't do that much!

The kids loved a full day of just swimming! We were sad to leave San Diego! We had so much fun!
The next day was a pool party at Grandma Sharon's in Vegas. We celebrated Nolan's and Jack Birthdays (Aug. 14 and 15)
Uncle Derrick and his slice of cake!Happy Birthday, Boys!
Jack wasn't so sure that he was supposed to dive into his cake!

Jack liked his gifts! We had tons of fun with Grandma Sharon!

And We're Off!

We are going to be gone for quite awhile! We are going to see my fam and Jon's fam. Then we are headed off (w/o kiddies) to Amsterdam. Jon has a conference, and I thought I would tag along cuz, u-no...I've never been there! It will be a long time to be gone, but we can use a long break! Take care and enjoy this video. It truley makes me smile that these people got out and not only saw the world, but danced everywhere they went. I really like the song too (so don't forget to push pause on my playlist!) Have a good summer! We will miss you!

Jack Jack Crawls!?! (Monkey Stlye)

Can you call this crawling? Bridger did the same thing before he learned to walk so maybe it is a genetic style of gettin' around!?! Any way, he is cute about it- ain't he?

Are you Ready to Rumble?

We are! The kids LOVE to wrestle with Daddy. Lately Jack is learning that he can get in on the fun too! Here are some pix from last month- but Jack is a lot more daring now and loves it when Daddy picks him up and "eats" his tummy is the middle of the jumble. He laughs the whole time!

Could you tell who won?
It was Mom of course! I was able to get away and take pictures! Duh! (hehe)

Girls Night Out!!!!

For GNO this month- we decided to get pedicures. Carli wasn't sure about this and wanted to know if she could take the polish off first thing when we got home. (I talked her into taking it off after church on Sun.- which she did)

The little Aisian lady was super sweet and painted a little flower on her big toenail. She wasn't sure about it. We asked her why she didn't ask for something else...like a soccer ball. She said, "Cuz I don't speak Spanish"- Apparently anyone with a thick accent from another country speaks (only) Spanish. (My kids are funny!) I think it grew on her- cuz she ended up liking it!

Saralyn's little daughter Sarah accompanied us on her first GNO. So did Elysa, Saralyn's sil. (She was just visiting from Richfield, Ut)Now our feet look HOT!!!
After our pedicures, we went to this place!
We were lucky enough to catch a pic with Red Robin himself!
Elysa and Sarah got some bonding time in!!!
That was fun!
We are soooo doing that again!

Lucky Me!

I am not getting any younger (Today I am 33!) and I have been thinking lately about my life and all the things that I have had the opportunity to do in just 33 years.
Here are some of them!

I was able to gain a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and be baptized. I was able to go to and graduate from college.
I married a very good man in the temple!I was able to give birth to 4 beautiful children!

I have been outside of the US.

I was able to join my family in getting to know this Dolphin at Seaworld!
(Sorry you had to see me preg-o and in a wetsuit)

I added some things to my list this weekend.
(I was trying to help Jon get some things done).
I was thinking that it took me 33 years to
use serious tools
and drive a tractor.

Jon was teaching me how to mow use this to mow the lawn and he said, "Well- it's just like using a real tractor." How many tractors does he think I have driven growing up in Vegas?
I am Lucky or Blessed (however you want to think of it) to be able to experience so many things in my life! (I know I will prob. think of 10,ooo other experiences after I post this- oh well!)
