And We're Off!

We are going to be gone for quite awhile! We are going to see my fam and Jon's fam. Then we are headed off (w/o kiddies) to Amsterdam. Jon has a conference, and I thought I would tag along cuz, u-no...I've never been there! It will be a long time to be gone, but we can use a long break! Take care and enjoy this video. It truley makes me smile that these people got out and not only saw the world, but danced everywhere they went. I really like the song too (so don't forget to push pause on my playlist!) Have a good summer! We will miss you!

Jack Jack Crawls!?! (Monkey Stlye)

Can you call this crawling? Bridger did the same thing before he learned to walk so maybe it is a genetic style of gettin' around!?! Any way, he is cute about it- ain't he?

I was more anxious to see how to use this- I have been itchin' to post a few things- but couldn't figure out how to do it on my video camera. Another thing about a Flip- it is the EASIEST thing I have ever tried to figure out! B4 you push play, make sure that you push the pause button on my playlist!

Are you Ready to Rumble?

We are! The kids LOVE to wrestle with Daddy. Lately Jack is learning that he can get in on the fun too! Here are some pix from last month- but Jack is a lot more daring now and loves it when Daddy picks him up and "eats" his tummy is the middle of the jumble. He laughs the whole time!

Could you tell who won?
It was Mom of course! I was able to get away and take pictures! Duh! (hehe)

Girls Night Out!!!!

For GNO this month- we decided to get pedicures. Carli wasn't sure about this and wanted to know if she could take the polish off first thing when we got home. (I talked her into taking it off after church on Sun.- which she did)

The little Aisian lady was super sweet and painted a little flower on her big toenail. She wasn't sure about it. We asked her why she didn't ask for something else...like a soccer ball. She said, "Cuz I don't speak Spanish"- Apparently anyone with a thick accent from another country speaks (only) Spanish. (My kids are funny!) I think it grew on her- cuz she ended up liking it!

Saralyn's little daughter Sarah accompanied us on her first GNO. So did Elysa, Saralyn's sil. (She was just visiting from Richfield, Ut)Now our feet look HOT!!!
After our pedicures, we went to this place!
We were lucky enough to catch a pic with Red Robin himself!
Elysa and Sarah got some bonding time in!!!
That was fun!
We are soooo doing that again!

Lucky Me!

I am not getting any younger (Today I am 33!) and I have been thinking lately about my life and all the things that I have had the opportunity to do in just 33 years.
Here are some of them!

I was able to gain a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and be baptized. I was able to go to and graduate from college.
I married a very good man in the temple!I was able to give birth to 4 beautiful children!

I have been outside of the US.

I was able to join my family in getting to know this Dolphin at Seaworld!
(Sorry you had to see me preg-o and in a wetsuit)

I added some things to my list this weekend.
(I was trying to help Jon get some things done).
I was thinking that it took me 33 years to
use serious tools
and drive a tractor.

Jon was teaching me how to mow use this to mow the lawn and he said, "Well- it's just like using a real tractor." How many tractors does he think I have driven growing up in Vegas?
I am Lucky or Blessed (however you want to think of it) to be able to experience so many things in my life! (I know I will prob. think of 10,ooo other experiences after I post this- oh well!)

Our 4th!

For the 4th of July, we were invited to our friend's house, The Norrs, for a BBQ and swimming.

Carli showed off her swimming skills and had a blast with a pool full of girls!

Jack wrestled with the Bishop and ate everything he could get his hands on.

Then we went to the Track for a show and fireworks.
The pre-fireworks show was 4 country singer- impersonators. (Reba, Garth, Shania and Meryl Haggard).
Then the fireworks began...oooo...aaaah!

Jack was amazing! He never cried with any of the loud pops of the fireworks, but just watched them with fascination!
Bridger did this!
I don't think that he even saw or heard one firework!
Hope you had a Great 4th of July!

Auntie Terra!

Some people are born with nephews and nieces already. It will have taken me 33 1/2 years to become an aunt. But the news was much anticipated and well worth the long wait. I am so excited for my children that they will have their first cousin to play with. I can remember playing with my cousins. They lived close and we grew up like brothers and sisters. We always had a blast as kids.
Raina(4 years younger than me), Jonathan (6 years younger than me), U. Dale and A. Winnie
My cousins lived 3 blocks over and we spent so many nights at each others houses. I was bossy and mean and would play anything as long as I was in charge. I wonder how they ever put up with me.
My Aunt and Uncle were big influences in my life because they introduced the church to me. They also set such a big example to me in my life and I found myself wishing I could be crafty, creative and oh- so- elegant like my Aunt.
I hope that I deserve the "Aunt" title. It is a big thing to me and I just am counting down the days. (In fact I have a ticker on my sidebar to remind me-I'm not crazy about this or anything uh?!?).

Congratulations to the Expecting Parents!

Amy and Nathan (Jon's sis and bil)

(Just remember labor bites and Lamaze doesn't work!- epidurals are wonderful- they make you all warm and tingly...oh great, now I want one!)

What are you favorite baby names?
