I AM Thankful!

I am giving a talk tomorrow in church on doing things with thanksgiving. Every time I do research for a lesson or talk, it makes me think about and apply the subject to my life. I just want to pour out my heart to say how thankful I am for the wonderful things in my life. I AM thankful for the bad as well as the good- cuz I know that I am a stronger woman because of my trials.

Some things that I am thankful for: (in no certain order)
My Family (hubby, kids, moms, dads, sisters, brothers, etc).
My Home (It keeps me cozy and warm and makes me feel happy when I am home)
My Heavenly Father, His Son, and His gospel
The Holy Spirit- that keeps in touch with me and helps me in this crazy world
My neighbors (that are just starting to build and move over. It will be lovely to spend many years learning from such beautiful people).
My Hands- That cuddle children, make nutritious (and sometimes not so much) meals and are functioning and able to do whatever I need them to.
My Health.
My body- that I can experience this life.
My legs that carry me from one place to another.
The extra 10 pounds that I can't seem to loose that is keeping me a teeney bit extra warm this winter.
Did I mention my husband... oh well- I WILL say it again! My Jon!!!
Blogging- to keep in touch with family and friends.
Technology
Grocery stores
Electricity
Running water
Air conditioning in summer and heat in winter.
Laundry- (Wait- how did that get in there?) Okay, I AM thankful for warm, clean clothes!
Hot showers
Restaurants
Friends
Food- fresh, canned, boxed, frozen- it doesn't matter- we never have had to go hungry.
Things that smell good (like air fresheners and candles)
Nature
Appliances that help me clean the house and cook meals
Music. Beautiful, fun and happy music
My Jon (I really can't say enough how thankful I am to this wonderful man in my life)
Phones and communication
Planes
Boats
Minivans (I always knew I would be a mini-van mom!)
Games
Friends with games
Chocolate
Friends with chocolate (Wait- maybe now I know why I can't loose those 10 lbs)
Babies and their yummy baby smell.
Local law enforcement -that keep us just a little safer at night
Those who fight for our country so I don't have to worry
Soap- Glorious soap that keeps us clean and smelling good!

Nice shoulders- (someone once told me that I had great shoulders and I guess that it has gone to my head cuz I think they are just perfect. (Not too bony- not to broad)
Vitamins
Doctors and Medicine.
Books
Tv
Hollywood- (Actually I am thankful that I am NOT a part of it- them folks don't always know when to stop!)

Of Course this isn't everything, but once I got started, it was hard to stop!
What are you thankful for?

I have to agree with Debie. Great job today in church. You better be more careful or you'll talk all the time, especially with your Jon being in there. When they have extra minutes, he'll say, "ask Terra, she does a great job!"

Too bad I missed your talk. I love your thankful list. There's not too much else to add, I think.
